CHOROS
A LA CHALACA
( Mussels Callao Style )Ingredients:3 dozen mussels.
2 onions cut in dices .
1 green hot pepper cut in dices .
1 tablespoon ground garlic .
1 corn , boiled ( separate the kernels from it )
lemon juice .
Oil.
Chopped parsley.
Salt and pepper .
Preparation:
Wash mussels well and cook them in salted
water . Drain them, take out the shells from them and with a teaspoon take the dark part
out .
In another bowl, mix onion , hot pepper and add salt, pepper and
lemon juice .
Add the corn kernels , ground hot pepper and a dash
of oil. Mix well .Place each mussel in half shell and cover it with onion sauce. We
usually serve 6 mussels per serving. |
