Tourism:

Tourism presents many possibilities in the Near-Jungle and the High and Low Jungle. Oxapampa, the valleys of Palcazú, Pichis and Pachitea, as well as the Reserva de Yanachaga, offer conditions for this activity.

In the Andean zone, the main tourist attractions are: Punta Marca ruins, with its stone buildings and irrigation canals. Also the Yarus, Huancho, Bambamarca and Huarautambo ruins, where remains of the Inca Roads can be seen.

Pasco has lagoons such as Punrún, Huaracocha and Shegue. They are of great beauty and fit for sport hunting. Also we can find a number of termal baths such as Villo, Chinche and Rabi.

The Rock Woods of Huayllay are in this department. It is one of the most exotic places in the world, there erosion has given shape to strange figures such as the "The turtle".
