Tourist cooperation with Argentina

(Peru.com) The Peruvian government ratified the agreement on Cooperation and Sustainable Development signed with Argentina. This document was signed in our country on September 7 by the vice president and Minister of Industry and Tourism Raul Diez Canseco, and by the Argentinian Secretary of Tourism, Hernan Santiago Lombardi.
Through this agreement, Peru and Argentina will engage to promote favorable conditions in order to increase the number of tourist trips to both countries. To achieve that objective, both governments will provide their citizens great facilities, in addition to appropriate assistance. Tourist, cultural and natural attractions will be disseminated, cooperation in the private tourist field will be encouraged and initiatives will be supported.
Likewise, official sources informed that both countries have engaged to carry out an exchange of information about policies of sustainable development in tourism. They will share experiences in the management of tourist attractions and flows, the incorporation of new offers and the development of this activity.
According to the information published in the official newspaper “El Peruano”, the ratification of the agreement replaces the agreement on tourism signed by Peru and Argentina on May 25, 1968
