Toledo met with US investors

(Peru.com) President Alejandro Toledo started his activities in New York with a business meeting with US businessmen and investors at the seat of the American Society, institution that conducts economic researches.
During his 30-minute speech, the head of state said his government had the will to keep stable rules so that investors could do business in Peru with confidence. He added that regarding the issue of the electricity companies, the government would respect the agreement made with them.

President Toledo talked about the economic crisis in Argentina and said Peru had not been affected by it.
He also met with Brazil's president Felipe Henrique Cardoso, with whom he talked about bilateral relationships.
On Saturday he is expected to give a 15-minute speech at the UNO General Assembly after the US president George W. Bush, and England Prime Minister Tony Blair.
